The price of drugs permeates every type of benefit employers' provide. As with other Pharmacy Networks, we have the abiltiy to provide prescription medications below the Workers' Comp Pharmacy Fee Schedule.
Our clients must receive the maximum savings on payable expenses as well as the maximum protection against unnecessary expenses. Our formulary will automatically exclude any drugs that are not normally prescribed for work related injuries, i.e. hypertension medication. But, what about claims where an injured employee has a pre-existing condition requiring medication that is normally prescribed for work related injuries? Our Pharmacy Management Network allows us to make "real time" changes to specifically include or exclude specific drugs on specific claims. This guarantees clients will only be responsible for work related prescriptions and will receive the lowest possible price.
