Case Management

HeI's philosophy is to use Case Management as a resource to assist adjusters in controlling medical costs, coordinating care and a successful early return to work. It is not a replacement for an adjuster, aggressive claims investigation or communication with the client or injured employee.

Health e Innovations combines the total buying power of our clients and negotiating lower hourly Case Management rates. HeI contracts with multiple organizations that knowingly compete against one another for the same service area. This enables HeI to assign Case Management referrals to the highest quality nurses from each organziation in each service area at a very competitive rate.

HeI assists in identifying claims matching referral criteria, transfers all medical information and monitors each referral to ensure the objectives are being met. The adjuster pre-approves a specific amount of time for each case. HeI monitors nurse activity so that the allocated time is not exceeded. Reports are reviewed and returned if they are inadequate or incomplete.
